Our Stars this Week

In our class we love to sing nursery rhymes . Here is the link if you would like to sing them at home.

Each day your child will require their reading bag, PE kit and water bottle in school.

Please can you make sure their name is on all PE kits and uniform as we have found some clothes which unfortunately do not have names in and no-one has claimed them. Please check our lost property box located in the hall if you have any missing items.

We have had the book fair in school this week and have had a competition to draw a front cover of some of our favourite books.  All the children have done extremely well, as I'm sure you will agree. Take a look at our amazing entries.

Our runners up. They got a little treat from our class treat box to say a big well done.

This was our winning entry. As the winner of the competition they have been to the book fair to choose a book for our class. They have chosen Tabby McTat by Julia Donaldson. We are going to have lots of fun reading that as we love Julia Donaldson books in our class.

Our topic this half term is all about the sea. We have been learning about Grace Darling who lived in a lighthouse. We have been making our own lighthouses. Haven't we done a good job!

This half term we are learning about plants and bees. We have been busy planting sunflower seeds. Some have started to grow already, we cant believe it! Take a look at the pictures of us planting our seeds.
